Pescadero Clinches DCAA Meet Table Tennis Title

In a thrilling finale, Batang Pinoy Mini Cadet Girls 2024 Bronze Medalist Kerstin Margot Pescadero of Unit 8 emerged victorious in the Table Tennis High School Girls Category Single Event at the Davao City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet. Pescadero edged out Charlote Delos Reyes of Unit 2 in a nail-biting 3-2 set, with a score of 13-11.

This wasn't the first encounter between the two players, as they previously faced off in the elimination round, where Pescadero also claimed victory. With this win, Pescadero secures her spot in the upcoming Regional meet, DAVRAA, where she'll compete against top athletes from the region.

Credit also goes to Pescadero's coach, Princess Paragsa of Brokenshire College of Toril, for her guidance and expertise in helping her athlete achieve this triumph. Additionally, Coach Cloyd Jay Villamor, Pescadero's club trainer at Street Pongers Table Tennis Training Center, played a significant role in her success, providing top-notch training and technical guidance.
